Why Football Connect?

The world has changed, we live in a technological world now. Football Connect is the biggest thing in Pretoria that allows us as players to get our footage out there into the world. Footage is everything in football and can get you very far, Xavi Simon’s is a good example of this. Football Connect not only gives us the opportunity to get a hold of our footage, but they make sure that their relationship with any client is a priority and they keep the client happy at all costs while providing quality work on top of that. Seeing how Football Connect has been beneficial to me, I would definitely recommend all players to join in themselves and not miss out on this great opportunity.

Who is your role model in football and why?

My role model in football is Sergio Ramos. The man is simply unbelievable every time he plays, he plays every game like it is a cup final and has been consistent throughout the last decade and even more. He is a leader and works hard on and off the pitch, while the others are on holiday he is at the gym working his socks off. Imagine winning a world cup and UEFA champions league, that is any players dream and he has accomplished that but still works hard like he has something to prove. He is the reason I wear jersey number 4, he is an inspiration to me and I know for a fact that one day I’ll be on his level and do wonders for both my club and country.

What makes you different as a footballer?

The ability to persist when times are tough, I never drop my head on the field of play regardless of what the scoreboard says. I always give my all until the final whistle blows. I do not have a plan B like many do, because I know that it is going to distract me from my plan A which is becoming a professional soccer player. For me it’s all or nothing, the amount of work I put into this sport is remarkable. I’m a firm believer in “actions speak louder than words” so that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life. I don’t just talk, I walk the talk. I never lose to be honest, I either win or learn. Most people give up too easy, most people stop chasing their dreams because of fear, most people give up when times are tough. I guess that is what separates me from them, my ability to never give up. I have a burning desire and huge passion for this sport and I’ll keep going until I make it.

What inspires you to become a professional footballer?

I want to have a voice in the world, and I know that through football I can be able to have not only a voice but a big impact in this world. Waking up everyday and seeing the statistics of the negative things that are happening in Africa hurts me alot, I know this continent is destined for great things and I want to offer a helping hand to make sure that we strive for that greatness together. I want people to look at me and say because he made it so can we, I want to be Africa’s golden boy. I believe in protecting my happiness at all costs, and the one thing that would keep me happy is waking up every morning knowing that I’m going to do what I love which is to play the beautiful game of football. Ive dedicated my whole life to this sport, getting that professional contract is the only way out and I’m not going to accept anything else. It’s more than just a sport to me, it’s my life.
